The Servant Child IS Christmas
Episode 2 - The Fruit - The Servant Child IS Christmas
Jesus IS - Jesus Did, So We Can Too
I Love talking about the fruit of Holy Spirit. Why? We're talking about the perfect Spirit from The Throne of Heaven. What does that mean? Who sits on Heaven's throne? God The Father, Jesus sits at His hand and Holy Spirit, who is The Seven Spirits of God, moves throughout God's multi dimensional universe.
The Fruits of The Spirit are a direct attribute of The God Head and is perfect in every way as it radiates from Their countenances. Glorious in every way a perfect reflection and blessing of God The Father who provided this revelation for us by showing us who He IS.
The Ancient of Days is showing us His way for His creation so we can learn to walk in like manner of Jesus who IS the perfect reflection of His Father in the flesh. As we press into heaven through the work Jesus did for us on the cross we should become more like Him in every way. Are aspiring to be servant children unto God?
Jesus gave up His life so we could find life and that life more abundantly through His Light because He IS The Light of Life. His perfect life was revealed to us, for us, so we can learn to follow Him and be like Him through the leading of The Holy Spirit just as He was.
I. As Jesus was led by Holy Spirit so are we. We are blessed by The Father, through Jesus, to receive The Holy Spirit so we can be led in HIS truth.
If we look at Jesus's life, He epitomized The Throne Of Heaven, and yet as a servant He walked seamlessly in The Fruit Of Holy Spirit. Isaiah the prophet prophesied in chapter 53 what was going to happen when Messiah showed up on the earth to walk among men. Many thought Messiah would shatter the sky and reveal Himself as The Warrior King, that He IS, to reign and destroy the enemies of God. And although that will happen in due time through the millennial reign Jesus showed up as a baby, a servant of God, who was swaddled and placed into an animal feeding trough because their was no bed for Him.
Born of a virgin, Son of God and son of man in the flesh to dwell among mankind came as a Servant Child.
A. Fully God and fully man Jesus our Messiah revealed a greater plan, a promised covenant given to us through Abraham. The 12 tribes of Israel did not understand Isaiah's prophecy. But God is faithful to His word and He revealed His plan to the world.
Isaiah the prophet stated in chapter 53: Messiah would come as a suffering servant. Isaiah breaks down what Jesus, both God and man, was going to go through so we could be victorious through God's covenant of promise. Isaiah the prophet revealed every area in Jesus's life would be laid down to death so God's plan of redemption could be fulfilled through His Servant Child.
Jesus, God's Servant Child, laid down His life unto to death so we could find life, and, that life more abundantly. It was God's Love for us in Jesus that compelled Him, The Son of God, to die for us as God's Servant Child.
B. It's not hard to understand why the first fruit of The Holy Spirit Paul listed is Love. Isaiah show's us what Love's Pure Light was going to do for us.
Isaiah 53:1 Who has believed our message? And to whom has the arm of the LORD been revealed? (The world, three wise men brought Him gifts fit for A King)
v2 He (Jesus) grew up before Him (God) like a tender shoot, and like a root out of dry ground. He 9Jesus) had no stately form or majesty to attract us, no beauty that we should desire Him. (Kings attire like Solomon)
v3 He was despised and rejected by men, a man of sorrows, acquainted with grief. Like one from whom men hide their faces, He was despised, and we esteemed Him not.
v4 Surely He took on our infirmities and carried our sorrows; yet we considered Him stricken by God, struck down and afflicted.
v5 He was pierced for our transgressions, He was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was upon Him, and by His stripes we are healed.
C. These facts are ongoing today: We are saved, set free, healed and delivered through the work of the cross and the shed Blood of Jesus.
v6 We all like sheep have gone astray, each one has turned to his own way; and The LORD (God The Father) has laid upon Him (Jesus) the iniquity (the sins) of us all.
v7 He (Jesus) was oppressed and afflicted, yet He did not open His mouth. He was led like a Lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before its shearers is silent, so He did not open His mouth.
v8 By oppression and judgment He was taken away, and who can recount His descendants? For He was cut off from the land of the living; He was stricken for the transgression of My people.
v9 He was assigned a grave with the wicked, and with a rich man in His death, although He had done no violence, nor was any deceit in His mouth. (Matthew 27:57–61; Mark 15:42–47; Luke 23:50–56; John 19:38–42)
v10 Yet it was The LORD’s (Father God's) will to crush Him and to cause Him to suffer; and when His soul is made a guilt offering, He will see His offspring, He (Father God) will prolong His days, and the good pleasure of The LORD (Father God) will prosper in His hand.
v11 After the anguish of His soul (His Death), He will see the light of life (His Resurrection from the death) and be satisfied. By His knowledge My (God The Father's) righteous Servant (Jesus) will justify many, and He (Jesus) will bear their iniquities.
v12 Therefore I will allot Him a portion with the great, (Jesus sits in Glory with His Father) and He will divide the spoils with the strong, because He has poured out His life unto death, and He was numbered with the transgressors. Yet He bore the sin of many and made intercession for the transgressors.
1. Isaiah's prophecy is exactly what The Lord's walk of consecration unto Father God looked like.
a. Jesus fulfilled the demands required by the covenant that was written in the ancient scroll of The Seven Seals listed in Revelation chapter five.
b. Isaiah foretold what Messiah would have to do to fulfill the demands of the covenant.
c. A spotless lamb must die. Its blood must be applied to The Mercy Seat of Heaven for the redemption of all mankind could take place.
d. Jesus is: The Lamb of God, The Light Of Life.
2. Jesus, from every part of His life walked in a manner that pleased His Father.
3.Jesus literally crucified the flesh in every area of His life, before going to the cross to be crucified, so we could find life.
4. And, in finding that life through Him, we can live life in a more abundant way that can only be found in God The Father.
5. Jesus said: I AM, The way, The Truth, The Life and the only way unto The Father.
From The Father all Blessings flow to us through His beloved Son Jesus and that through God The Holy Spirit.
