Forget None Of God’s Benefits Video One

Psalm 103  – A Psalm of David – God Never Changes! Let’s pray together and believe for His blessing to be poured out into your life today!

Forget None Of God’s Benefits –  Video One

The Bible is replete with scripture and prophecy concerning the eternal blessings of God. In Psalms King David proclaimed some of the eternal blessing of God. Isaiah the prophet did the same but brought it to another level when he prophesied about the suffering Jesus, The One True Son of God. Isaiah told us what Jesus would suffer so both Jew and Gentile could receive the eternal blessings and proclamations of God that are listed in the Bible.

One question I would like for us to keep in mind is this: If God is eternal and His Son is eternal do you think the things that Jesus suffered and sealed by His shed blood for us are eternal?

King David Proclaimed Psalm 103.
Today we’re going to focus on Psalm 103 scriptures 1-5 and then read how God brought about His eternal blessings for us. Then will read in Isaiah how the prophet proclaimed God’s eternal blessings that would be given to us in both Isaiah 53:4-6 and 61:1-3

I. King David’s Proclamations:

1 Bless the Lord, O my soul, and all that is within me bless His holy name.

2 Bless the Lord, O my soul, and do not forget all His benefits—

3 who forgives all your iniquity, who heals all your diseases,

4 who redeems your life from the Pit, who crowns you with steadfast love and mercy,

5 who satisfies you with good as long as you live so that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s.

II. Isaiah’s Revelation Concerning The Suffering Servant – Messiah

Isaiah 53: 4 Surely he has borne our infirmities and carried our diseases, yet we accounted him stricken, struck down by God, and afflicted.

5 But he was wounded for our transgressions, crushed for our iniquities; upon him was the punishment that made us whole, and by his bruises we are healed.

6 All we like sheep have gone astray; we have all turned to our own way, and the Lord has laid on him the iniquity of us all.

Isaiah’s Revelation Is Jesus’s Eternal Proclamation concerning His Eternal Deity and the eternal blessings that were sealed by His sacrifice and death on the cross.

III. This Prophecy by Isaiah Proclaimed God’s Way Forward

Isaiah 61: 1 The spirit of the Lord God is upon me because the Lord has anointed me; he has sent me to bring good news to the oppressed, to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives and release to the prisoners,

2 to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor and the day of vengeance of our God, to comfort all who mourn,

3 to provide for those who mourn in Zion—to give them a garland instead of ashes, the oil of gladness instead of mourning, the mantle of praise instead of a faint spirit. They will be called oaks of righteousness, the planting of the Lord, to display his glory.

When Jesus Came To Visit HE Proclaimed The Eternal Fulfillment of Isaiah’s prophetic revelations:

Luke’s Gospel 4:16-21

16 When he came to Nazareth, where he had been brought up, he went to the synagogue on the Sabbath day, as was his custom. He stood up to read, 17 and the scroll of the prophet Isaiah was given to him. He unrolled the scroll and found the place where it was written:

18 “The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he has anointed me to bring good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim release to the captives and recovery of sight to the blind, to set free those who are oppressed,

19 to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor.”

20 And he rolled up the scroll, gave it back to the attendant, and sat down. The eyes of all in the synagogue were fixed on him.

21 Then he began to say to them, “Today this scripture has been fulfilled in your hearing.”
